The Finance Department provides a full range of financial services including monthly financial statement preparation, quarterly budget to actual reporting, and annual budget and audited annual financial report preparation.

 

The Finance Department also performs monthly billing and cash receipting services for the City's electric, water and sewer services.  On average, department staff produce just under 6,300 utility invoices each month.  Monthly checks written from the City's accounts payable and payroll systems average 315 and 60 respectively.

 

The Finance Department also provides other specialized services including long and short term debt financing, annual federal energy reporting, and data analysis for City Departments, consultants, and the public as requested.
